1. Information We Collect

Account information

When you create or access your PAR-18 account using Sign in with Apple or Google Sign In, we may receive information provided by that authentication provider, including your name, email address and a unique account identifier.

The information available to PAR-18 depends on the information you choose to share through Apple or Google. PAR-18 does not collect or store your Google or Apple password.

Golf and performance information

When you use PAR-18, we store information required to provide the app’s functionality, including PAR-18 rounds, station and hole results, scores, round completion information, performance information derived from your rounds, your PAR-18 rating, provisional or established rating information, and round history.

This information is associated with your PAR-18 account so that it can be restored when you sign in on a supported device.

App preferences

Some preferences are stored locally on your device, including your preferred distance units and whether you have completed the introductory onboarding experience. These settings are used only to provide and personalise the app experience.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information only as reasonably necessary to operate PAR-18, including to create and maintain your account, authenticate you securely, record and retrieve your PAR-18 rounds, calculate and display performance information and your PAR-18 rating, show round history and insights, remember app preferences, provide account and support functionality, and maintain the security and reliability of the service.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Analytics, Advertising and Tracking

PAR-18 currently does not use advertising networks, behavioural advertising, third-party marketing trackers, cross-app tracking, marketing analytics or crash-monitoring services.

PAR-18 does not use your information to track you across apps or websites owned by other companies. If this changes in the future, this Privacy Policy and the relevant App Store privacy disclosures will be updated.

4. Third-Party Services

Apple

If you choose Sign in with Apple, Apple authenticates your identity and may provide PAR-18 with account information according to your Apple privacy settings.

Google

If you choose Google Sign In, Google authenticates your identity and may provide PAR-18 with account information according to your Google account settings and permissions.

Supabase

PAR-18 uses Supabase for authentication, secure data storage and backend services. Your PAR-18 account and golf-round information may therefore be processed and stored using Supabase infrastructure.

These third-party providers process information according to their own privacy policies and contractual obligations.

5. Data Storage and Security

PAR-18 uses reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect your information. Access to PAR-18 account data is restricted through authentication and database security controls. PAR-18 is designed so that authenticated users can access only the PAR-18 information associated with their own account.

No internet-connected service can guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable measures to protect the information entrusted to us.

6. How Long We Keep Your Information

We retain your PAR-18 account and associated golf information while your account remains active or while it is reasonably required to provide the service.

You may delete your PAR-18 account through the app. When account deletion is completed, the PAR-18 account and associated PAR-18 round and scoring information connected to that account are deleted from the PAR-18 service, subject to any information we may be legally required to retain.

Local preferences stored on your device may also be removed by deleting the PAR-18 app from your device.

7. Deleting Your Account

PAR-18 provides an in-app account deletion option. You can access account deletion from the relevant account/privacy area within the app. Before deletion, PAR-18 will ask you to confirm that you want to permanently delete your account.

Deleting your account permanently removes your PAR-18 account and associated PAR-18 data, including your stored rounds and related scoring information. This action cannot be undone.

8. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights relating to your personal information, including rights to request access to information held about you, request correction of inaccurate information, request deletion of your information, and ask questions about how your information is used.

PAR-18 also provides direct in-app account deletion. For privacy enquiries, contact support@thommo.ai.

9. Children

PAR-18 is not specifically directed at young children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to PAR-18 in circumstances where this should not have occurred, contact us at support@thommo.ai.

10. International Processing

The third-party infrastructure used by PAR-18 may process or store information in locations outside your state or country. Where this occurs, information is handled subject to the safeguards and privacy practices of the relevant service providers.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when PAR-18 changes or when legal, regulatory or platform requirements change. The current version will always be available at par18.com.au/privacy. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will identify the latest version.
