1. Who We Are

PAR-18 is developed and operated by Thommo (“we”, “us”, or “PAR-18”).

2. Information We Collect

Account information

When you sign in using Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In, the authentication provider may provide information such as your name, email address, and a unique account identifier, depending on the information you choose to share.

PAR-18 does not receive or store your Apple or Google password.

Authentication is provided using Supabase Auth. Supabase also assigns a unique internal identifier to your PAR-18 account.

The name supplied by your sign-in provider is used as your initial PAR-18 display name, which you can change in the app. Your email address is shown to you in your own profile and account screens. It is not shown to other PAR-18 users.

If you use Sign in with Apple, PAR-18 also stores an Apple-issued token on its backend. This token is used only so that PAR-18 can ask Apple to revoke PAR-18's access to your Apple ID when you delete your PAR-18 account.

Profile information

Your PAR-18 profile may contain:

• your display name;
• your PAR-18 Golf ID / Player Number;
• an optional profile photo.

Your Golf ID is used to help other PAR-18 users find and connect with you as a Friend.

If you upload a profile photo, it is stored in private PAR-18 backend storage and associated with your account. It is not publicly accessible. When another user is permitted to see it, the app receives a temporary link that expires shortly afterwards.

Your display name, Golf ID and profile photo (where provided) can be seen by:

• a signed-in PAR-18 user who enters your exact Golf ID;
• your Friends, and users who have a pending Friend request with you;
• other participants in multiplayer games you are part of, including players who have been invited but have not yet accepted.

They are not shown in any public directory, and PAR-18 does not provide a way to search for users by name or email address.

Golf round and performance information

When you play PAR-18, we store information needed to record your round and provide performance features.

This may include:

• your score at each of the nine PAR-18 stations;
• number of putts where recorded;
• distance remaining from the pin where recorded;
• round status and completion information;
• round history.

PAR-18 uses your completed round information to calculate performance information such as:

• PAR-18 Rating;
• Up & Down percentage;
• consistency information;
• proximity information;
• putting information;
• station-level performance;
• personal bests and trends.

These statistics are derived from your golf data so they can be displayed back to you within the app.

Friends and social information

PAR-18 allows registered users to connect with other registered users as Friends.

To provide this functionality, we store information relating to Friend connections and requests between PAR-18 accounts.

When another user searches for or connects with you using your Golf ID, information required to identify your PAR-18 profile may be visible to that user, such as your:

• display name;
• Golf ID;
• profile photo, where one has been provided.

Multiplayer game information

When you participate in a multiplayer PAR-18 game, we store information required to operate and record that game.

This may include:

• game participants;
• participant display information;
• guest player names entered by a user;
• scores;
• station results;
• completed game results;
• match-play outcomes;
• multiplayer round history.

For games involving registered Friends, PAR-18 may use completed multiplayer results to calculate historical head-to-head information between those players.

In a multiplayer game, the host records scores for every participant on one device, including your scores at each station, putts and distance left to the pin where recorded. All participants in the game, including invited players, can see each participant's display name, Golf ID, profile photo where provided, and the scores recorded in that game.

When a game is completed, each registered participant's scores from that game are also saved as a completed round in that participant's own PAR-18 history. Those rounds count towards that participant's PAR-18 Rating and other statistics.

If you leave a game before it is completed, the scores already recorded for you remain part of that game for the other participants, but no round is added to your history. A game that is cancelled by the host, or that ends because too few players remain, does not create rounds or head-to-head results.

Guest players are named by the host, do not have a PAR-18 account, and are visible only to participants in that game.

Head-to-head information between two registered Friends is visible to those two Friends.

3. Subscription Information

PAR-18 requires an active subscription for subscription-protected functionality.

On iOS, subscriptions are purchased and billed through the Apple App Store.

Apple processes your payment directly. PAR-18 does not receive or store your full payment-card details.

PAR-18 uses RevenueCat to manage subscription access.

RevenueCat may receive information supplied by Apple relating to your subscription, such as:

• whether a subscription is active;
• the subscription product;
• trial or introductory-offer status;
• subscription expiry or renewal information;
• whether the subscription is expected to renew.

RevenueCat associates subscription information with your PAR-18 account identifier so that PAR-18 can determine whether your account has access. PAR-18 does not send your name or email address to RevenueCat.

PAR-18 also keeps a record of your current subscription status, such as whether access is active, the subscription product, expiry or renewal information and whether it was a test (sandbox) purchase. This record is linked to your account and is used only to control access to PAR-18.

RevenueCat does not provide PAR-18 with your full payment-card details.

4. App Preferences and Local Device Data

PAR-18 stores limited app preferences on your device to provide the app experience.

This may include information such as:

• your preferred distance units;
• whether you have completed introductory onboarding;
• other small pieces of local application state needed to remember choices or prevent repeatedly showing the same app experience.

This locally stored information is not used for advertising or cross-app tracking.

5. Information We Do Not Currently Collect

PAR-18 currently does not use:

• advertising networks;
• behavioural advertising;
• third-party marketing trackers;
• cross-app tracking;
• marketing analytics services;
• third-party crash-monitoring services;
• advertising identifiers.

PAR-18 does not access your device's GPS or location services for the PAR-18 game.

A distance-to-pin value entered during a round is information entered by the user. It is not obtained from GPS.

PAR-18 does not receive or store your complete payment-card details.

If the services used by PAR-18 change in the future, this Privacy Policy and relevant platform privacy disclosures will be updated.

6. How We Use Your Information

We use information collected by PAR-18 only as reasonably necessary to operate and improve the service.

This includes using information to:

• create and maintain your PAR-18 account;
• authenticate you securely;
• maintain your PAR-18 profile and Golf ID;
• record and retrieve your rounds;
• calculate and display your golf-performance information;
• display your PAR-18 Rating and Insights;
• maintain round history;
• allow users to find and connect with Friends;
• operate multiplayer games;
• calculate match-play and head-to-head results;
• verify subscription access;
• restore subscription access;
• provide account and support functionality;
• maintain the security and reliability of PAR-18.

We do not sell your personal information.

We do not provide your personal information to third parties for their own advertising or marketing purposes.

7. Third-Party Services

Apple

Apple is used for:

• Sign in with Apple, if you choose that sign-in method, including revoking PAR-18's access to your Apple ID when you delete your account;
• App Store distribution;
• processing iOS subscription purchases.

Apple processes information according to your Apple account settings and Apple's own privacy practices.

Google

Google is used to authenticate you if you choose Google Sign-In.

Google may provide PAR-18 with permitted account information according to your Google account settings and permissions.

PAR-18 does not receive your Google password.

Supabase

PAR-18 uses Supabase for:

• authentication;
• database infrastructure;
• backend services;
• storage of PAR-18 application data.

This includes account, profile, round, Friend, multiplayer, entitlement, and related application information required to operate PAR-18.

RevenueCat

PAR-18 uses RevenueCat to manage subscription status and entitlement access.

RevenueCat processes subscription information supplied by the relevant app-store infrastructure so PAR-18 can determine whether an account has an active subscription.

8. Data Storage and Security

PAR-18 uses reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect your information.

PAR-18 backend data is hosted using Supabase infrastructure.

Information transmitted between the app and PAR-18 backend services is protected in transit using standard encrypted network connections.

Database security controls, including PostgreSQL Row Level Security and application-level access controls, are used to restrict access according to the user's account, participation in shared functionality, and the type of information involved.

For example:

• private account and round information is restricted to authorised access;
• multiplayer participants may access information required for games in which they participate;
• Friend-related information is exposed only where required for the relevant social feature.

No internet-connected service can guarantee absolute security, but PAR-18 takes reasonable measures to protect the information entrusted to it.

9. How Long We Keep Your Information

We retain your PAR-18 account information and associated golf data while your account exists or while it is reasonably required to provide the service.

You may permanently delete your PAR-18 account through the app.

Some data that forms part of a game shared with other participants may need to remain as part of the other participants' multiplayer game history. When you delete your account, your display name, Golf ID and profile photo are removed, and those games show you as a “Deleted Player”.

PAR-18's hosting provider keeps automatic daily backups of the PAR-18 database for a limited period (currently up to 7 days). Information from a deleted account may remain in those backups until they expire.

Information may also be retained where required by law.

Local application data stored on your device may be removed by deleting PAR-18 from the device.

10. Deleting Your Account and Data

PAR-18 provides in-app account deletion.

You can access this from:

Profile → Privacy → Delete Account

You can also choose Delete Account on the PAR-18 subscription screen, so you can delete your account without an active subscription.

PAR-18 will ask you to confirm the deletion before proceeding.

Deleting your PAR-18 account permanently removes your account and account-specific PAR-18 data, including information such as:

• your profile;
• Golf ID;
• Friend relationships;
• stored personal PAR-18 rounds;
• account-linked subscription entitlement records;
• account-linked authentication information;
• profile photo stored by PAR-18, where applicable.

If you used Sign in with Apple, PAR-18 also asks Apple to revoke PAR-18's access to your Apple ID. Your account deletion still completes if Apple cannot be reached. You can also remove PAR-18 at any time in your Apple ID settings, under apps using Sign in with Apple.

This action cannot be undone.

As described above, limited records belonging to a shared multiplayer game may remain where necessary to preserve another participant's legitimate game history. In those circumstances, the deleted account is no longer maintained as an active PAR-18 identity associated with that record, and other participants see a “Deleted Player” in place of your name, Golf ID and profile photo.

Deleting PAR-18 does not cancel your Apple subscription

Deleting your PAR-18 account does not automatically cancel an active Apple App Store subscription.

Apple controls the subscription and billing relationship.

You should manage or cancel your subscription through Apple's subscription-management interface if you no longer want it to renew.

If you later create a new PAR-18 account while an Apple subscription is still active, you may be able to restore that purchase through the app.

11. Sharing Information From PAR-18

PAR-18 may provide user-initiated sharing features, such as sharing your Golf ID or a completed round result.

When you choose to share information, PAR-18 may create the relevant text or image on your device and present the device's native sharing interface.

You choose:

• whether to share;
• what destination to use;
• which person, service, or social platform receives the information.

Once information is shared with another application or service, that service's own privacy practices apply.

PAR-18 does not automatically publish your round results or Golf ID to social networks.

12. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights relating to your personal information.

These may include rights to:

• request access to information held about you;
• request correction of inaccurate information;
• request deletion of information;
• ask questions about how your information is used.

PAR-18 also provides direct in-app account deletion.

13. Younger Users

PAR-18 is a general-audience golf app. Golfers of any age may use it, and PAR-18 does not set its own minimum age.

To use PAR-18, you sign in with an Apple ID or a Google account. Apple and Google apply their own age requirements and family settings to those accounts, and those settings may affect whether a younger person can sign in or make purchases.

PAR-18 handles every user's information in the same way, as described in this policy. In particular, a user's display name, Golf ID and profile photo can be seen by other users in the situations described in section 2. A profile photo is optional, and a display name can be changed in the app at any time.

If you are a parent or guardian and have a question about how PAR-18 handles your child's information, contact support@par18.com.au. An account can be permanently deleted in the app at any time, as described in section 10.

14. International Processing

The service providers used by PAR-18 may process or store information outside your state, territory, or country.

Where this occurs, information is handled subject to the security measures, contractual arrangements, and privacy practices applicable to the relevant service provider.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when PAR-18 functionality changes, the services used by PAR-18 change, legal or regulatory requirements change, or Apple, Google, or other platform requirements change.

The current Privacy Policy will be available at par18.com.au/privacy.

The “Last updated” date at the top of this page identifies the current version.
