Signing in
PAR-18 uses Sign in with Apple and Google Sign In. There is no PAR-18 password to remember, and PAR-18 never receives your Apple or Google password.
- Sign in with the same provider you used originally. If you sign in with Apple and with Google using the same email address, both sign in to the same PAR-18 account. If you chose Hide My Email with Apple, they are separate accounts.
- If you used Sign in with Apple and hid your email, replies from support can still reach you through Apple’s private relay where supported by your Apple account settings.
- If sign-in fails, check your internet connection, then close and reopen the app before trying again.
Rounds and scoring
- A PAR-18 round is nine stations — 10m, 20m, 30m, 40m, 50m, 60m, 70m, 80m and a bunker shot. Each station is par 2, so a full round is par 18.
- Tap a station tile to score it: Hole Out, Par, Bogey, Double, Triple or Pick Up, plus putts taken and distance left to the pin where recorded.
- Scored a station incorrectly? Tap the tile again before completing the round to change the result.
- A round only counts towards your PAR-18 Rating once all nine stations are scored and the round is completed.
Your PAR-18 Rating
- Your rating is provisional until you have five completed rounds. Before that it can move a long way after a single round.
- Consistency, up & down percentage and other Insights are based on your completed PAR-18 rounds.
- The PAR-18 Rating measures short-game performance in the PAR-18 format. It is not a golf handicap and is not connected to any official handicap system.
Friends and Golf ID
- Every registered PAR-18 player has a Golf ID / Player Number that can be used to find and connect with Friends.
- You can share your Golf ID with another PAR-18 player so they can find your profile and send a Friend request.
- If you cannot find another player, check that the Golf ID has been entered exactly as shown in their PAR-18 profile.
Multiplayer and match play
- Multiplayer games can include registered PAR-18 Friends and guest players.
- Two-player games can show match-play scoring alongside the normal stroke score.
- Head-to-head history is available for eligible completed games between two registered PAR-18 Friends.
- Guest players are part of the game they are added to but do not have their own PAR-18 account history.
- The host records scores for everyone in the game. Players in the same game can see each other’s display name, Golf ID, profile photo and scores for that game.
- To stop playing an unfinished game, a player who has joined someone else’s game can choose Leave Game on the game screen (or Decline an invitation they haven’t accepted), and the host can choose Cancel Game. The host can also remove a guest. A game left with fewer than two players ends without a result.
Subscription
PAR-18 uses an annual subscription purchased through the Apple App Store.
- Manage or cancel: use Profile → Privacy → Manage Subscription in PAR-18, or manage subscriptions through your Apple account.
- Subscription not showing: use Restore Purchases on the PAR-18 subscription screen while signed in with the appropriate PAR-18 account and Apple account.
- Deleting your PAR-18 account does not cancel your Apple subscription. Account deletion and App Store billing are separate.
Troubleshooting
- Rounds not appearing: your rounds are stored against your account. Confirm you are signed in with the same provider, then refresh the app.
- Rating looks wrong: check History — only completed rounds are included.
- Distances in the wrong units: change your preference in Profile → Units & Display.
- Subscription access missing: confirm the subscription is active in Apple, then use Restore Purchases in PAR-18.
- App not responding: force-close the app and reopen it. If the problem continues, update to the latest version from the App Store.
Your account and data
Your account, profile, rounds, performance information, Friend connections and multiplayer information are stored as needed to provide PAR-18 and restore your account when you sign in on a supported device.
PAR-18 does not use advertising networks, marketing analytics or cross-app tracking. Full details are available in the Privacy Policy.
Deleting your account
You can delete your PAR-18 account from inside the app: Profile → Privacy → Delete Account. If you don’t have an active subscription, choose Delete Account on the PAR-18 subscription screen instead. You will be asked to confirm before deletion proceeds.
Deletion permanently removes your PAR-18 account and account-specific data. Limited information from shared multiplayer games may remain where needed to preserve another participant’s game history.
Deleting your PAR-18 account does not automatically cancel an active Apple App Store subscription.
See the Privacy Policy for full details. If you cannot complete account deletion in the app, email support@par18.com.au.
